Face to Face Training
As well as introductory seminars and workshops, a one or
two day training course is also available. Below is an example

First day of a course

- A brain storming session about attitudes, hopes and fears about online work using the questionnaires
that have been completed by the trainees prior to the course

- A scary look to the future of online communication

- The specifics of working with email, Internet Relay Chat and SMS (Netiquette)

Second day of a course
- Feedback on previous day and discussion
Coffee
- Discussion of technology and how therapeutic work is changing to encompass new developments, thus normalising it for trainees.
Lunch
- Ethical Issues when working online
Break
- Presentation and discussion of new client issues in the wake of new technology (e.g. Cyberstalking, Cyberinfidelity, text message bullying, etc)
- Summary discussion of attitudes, hopes and fears in light of the training course.
